For more than 30 years, The Learning Path Store has been helping teachers and parents find the right tools to help children succeed in school.

Former teacher Betty McDowell took over the store in 2007 with a specific goal to expand children's horizons by educating them not only through practice books, but also through play. After all, learning is fun! When Betty McDowell started teaching in 1969, she realized the importance of supplemental materials that teachers and parents used in addition to the school curriculum to make learning enjoyable.

Through The Learning Path Store, she guides other teachers and parents in helping children correct problems that may have come up along the way.

The store offers supplemental materials for children in preschool through middle school, but more importantly, it shows the customers how to use these materials effectively and consequently help the children reach their full potential of learning.

Because customer service is one of The Learning Path Store's highest priorities, the staff is experienced in all phases of elementary education to assist customers with any questions or concerns.

If you visit the store around the holidays, you can often be surprised with a visit from Santa Claus, who tends to hang around during that time of the year. Betty's husband, Hugh, has been Santa Claus for the last six years. He is very busy during the latter part of the calendar year, visiting children and making appearances. You can even schedule a private visit with Santa Hugh by simply requesting more information at the register.
